There’s something I’ve always loved about the way music looks. Not just how it sounds—but how it leaves a trace. A line of notes on a white page. A waveform moving across a screen. A diagram of rhythm and flow.
It reminds me of a project I once did during an art and music class. We used SoundCloud—you could upload a song and add an image to go with it. One of my classmates made something I’ll never forget: he drew a mustache onto the musician’s face, shaped entirely from the audio waveform. It was funny, clever, and full of energy. That moment stuck with me—not because of the joke, but because of how music became something you could see.
This artwork came from that memory. I didn’t try to be clever this time. I didn’t try to impress. I just wanted to let the music shape the piece, like it shapes a melody. The paper became the silence, the ink became the notes. Every stroke feels like a sound coming to life.
It’s a quiet celebration of the way music looks when we feel it deeply. A reminder that creativity doesn’t always need to be loud—it can be simple, subtle, and still full of motion.
