Custom Art & Commissions

Custom Artwork

Every project is unique, so there’s no one-size-fits-all approach or fixed price list.
I accept just one commission each month, allowing me to work closely with you and give each piece the time, thought, and attention it deserves. For each commission, I consider the complexity, size, materials, and the creative vision you want to bring to life, while always keeping your budget in mind.

I love working with people whose ideas, stories, and ways of seeing the world can become something deeply personal. My aim is to transform the complexity of who you are into artwork that belongs to your space, sparks creativity, and invites new perspectives.

Before I begin, I want to understand what matters to you: the ideas you return to, the stories behind your space, the things that shape the way you see the world. I use those details as raw material, translating them into a visual language that is uniquely yours.

If you have an idea or a budget, let’s chat about how to make your space feel personal and help you create a workspace that helps you focus.

Mary Pavlova with her original Signatrue stlye abstract text-based artwork

Hi there

I'M MARY PAVLOVA

a conceptual text-based artist fascinated by language, perception. I turn letters and bits of text into visual art, exploring the space between what we read, what we see, and what we think we understand.

My work is inspired by calligraphy, architecture, visual puzzles, and the expressive power of written language.
I create new ways of seeing language through art.

My passion? Turning empty walls into something that feeds the mind, sparks curiosity, and keeps ideas moving.

Frequently asked questions

Absolutely!
Every piece I make is completely original—no templates or repeats here. I have a handful of one-of-a-kind, ready-made artworks available if you’re looking for something special right away.

But most of my work is by commission. If you have an idea in mind, let’s chat! I love collaborating and turning your stories into something uniquely yours.

I specialize in creating conceptual text-based art. My process is all about using visual language words, letters, and writing become expressive elements, woven into the abstract composition.
Think of it as visual riddles, where your own thoughts and stories become part of the artwork. Each piece is conceptual, deeply personal, and designed to inspire—something you can read, feel, or simply experience visually. You bring the pieces, and together we create an art puzzle that’s truly yours.

Then we won’t use blue. Color is an important part of my work, and for a custom piece, we can choose a palette that works for you, your space, and the feeling you want the artwork to create.

My color palette is intentional. Each color was chosen based on research into color perception and the purpose behind my work. Blue has a particular role in my visual language, but for a custom piece, we can discuss a palette that feels right for you and your space.

My goal is to create art that truly reflects you as a complex and unique individual. I want my work to help turn your office or workspace into a place that inspires focus and creativity.

If you have any other ideas, I’d love to hear about them. Let’s talk and work together to create something that fits you perfectly.
